Wugang Worth Steel Trading Co. Ltd. is a trader and distributer specialized in steel plate made by Wuyang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Wuyang Steel), and Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS), was founded by the steel business veterans from Wuyang Steel. The core executives and employees (personnel) had been committed more than 10 years to planning, financing, production and sales departments in Wuyang Steel; some of them had career experience in foreign enterprise and international trade. So they are accomplished in financing, purchasing, selling and international marketing affair, have established business relationship with many foreign wholly owned enterprises and Sino-foreign joint ventures.

Wuyang Iron and Steel Co., ltd. belongs to Hebei Iron and Steel Group. The group capacity reached 40,000,000 tons in 2009 since consolidated Chinese Wuyang Steel, Handan Steel, Tangshan Steel, Xuanhua Steel, Chengde Steel, and Shijiazhuang Steel. HBIS is current largest steel group in China.

Wuyang Steel was established in 1970, is first state owned steel plant for wide heavy steel plates. In more than 30 years of running and reconstruction, current capacity reaches 5,000,000 tons, equipped two production lines for wide heavy steel plates, i.e. production line No.1 and No.2, obtained the quality management system certificate ISO9001, the environmental management system certificate ISO14001, passed TUV steel plate certification, shipbuilding and offshore oil platform steel plates certifications from nine countries of classification societies such as CCS, RINA, ABS, LR, BV, GL, NK, KR, DNV.

Wuyang Steel production line No.1, equipped 90 t UHP electric arc furnace, LF ladle refining, VD vacuum degassing, ingot casting equipments, 1900 mm slab continuous caster, 4200 mm wide heavy plate rolling mill, affiliated reheating, normalizing, annealing, tempering, quenching, finishing facilities. Steel plate dimensions can be produced in thickness from 8 mm to 700 mm, width from 1500 mm to 3900 mm, length from 3000 mm to 18000 mm.

The production line No.2 also called new line was VAI designed, start up in 2005, adopted world advanced design and top technologies, equipped 100 ton UHP (ultra high power) electric arc furnace, LF ladle refining, VD vacuum degassing, ingot casting equipments, 2500 mm slab continuous caster, 4100 mm wide heavy plate rolling mill, affiliated reheating, normalizing, annealing, tempering, quenching, finishing facilities. Steel plate dimensions can be produced in thickness from 8 mm to 150 mm, width from 1500 mm to 3900 mm, length from 3000 mm to 18000 mm.

Wuyang Steel main products can be produced according to standards of Chinese GB, European EN and American ASTM and ASME, German DIN, British BS, Australian AS etc, or according to customer’s special technical specifications. Many years so far, Wuyang Steel plates have been exported to more than 20 developed countries and regions such as United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Australia, United Kingdom, Italy, as well as other foreign markets.

Wuyang Steel plates have made great contribution in the field of shipbuilding, machinery, petrochemicals, crude oil and natural gas transmission, hydropower, thermal power and nuclear power engineering, the ships, heavy machines, pressure pipes, high pressure and ultra high pressure boiler steam drums, large vessels, reactors, gas turbines and so on were used Wuyang Steel plates manufactured spread all over in China and abroad, the annual consumption of Wugang steel plate amounts to millions tons.

The world largest port machinery manufacturer ZMPC annually uses more than 300,000 tons of Wuyang Steel plates to build ultra large bridge cranes and floating cranes, these cranes using Wuyang Steel plate made were exported and spread over 90 ports in 49 countries and regions.
